Nurseplus has 5 divisions;-Community Care
Nurseplus delivers both personal and nursing care in the community allowing people to stay in their own homes
Disease Management
Nurses assisting the NHS to review patients with long term conditions such as diabetes and improve their health outcomes
Occupational Health
Pre employment medical checks and full Occupational Health reviews including workplace risk assessments.
Consultancy
Nurseplus also provide individual advice on health related projects.
Courts
Nursplus supports District, High and Sheriff Courts providing Healthcare for prisoners throughout Scotland.
Nurseplus Community Care
Was launched in 2002 in Scotland. Since that time Nurseplus Community Care has grown extensively and gained local authority approval in a number of areas. We currently deliver > 6000 hours of care per month in people’s own homes and have > 100 carers and nurses working for us mainly in the central belt of Scotland.
We specialise in people with more complex needs either due to physical or psychological reasons and most of our clients require > 20 hours per week of care. Some examples are;- people paralysed after accidents, head injury, congenital conditions, medical conditions in younger adults (Hungtinton’s Chorea, Multiple Sclerosis), medical conditions usually in older adults (stroke, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease).
On Call – Out of Hours
All clients and their relatives are provided with an on call number and have access to trained Nurseplus Staff out with office hours.
Rotas
All clients receive weekly rotas with named carers and times of each visit. Each client will have at least 3 carers allocated to their care ensuring consistency and reliability.

Nurseplus always conduct an assessment with new clients and frequently review existing clients to ensure care plans are up to date. We can support

Our Staff
All of our staff are vetted – Enhanced Disclosure before commencing work and receive general and specific training to meet the needs of the clients they care for. Training and supervision is ongoing for all staff members. Our Staff are passionate about supporting our clients, often going the extra mile to ensure they can stay in the comfort of their own home.
Nurseplus is regularly inspected and regulated by the Care Commission and inspected by local authorities such as Perth & Kinross.

* Meal Preparation can be either domestic or personal dependent on level of disability. The position of the council, as supported by COSLA, is that meal preparation is only considered to be a personal task where the client requires the combination of meal preparation and assistance with feeding. Otherwise it is considered to be a domestic task.
