Carewatch Care Services Dunbartonshire provide assistance, reassurance, enablement and encouragement with the challenges of everyday life, and assist with activities such as light domestic tasks, shopping, cleaning, befriending, hospital discharge, illness, or providing respite to unpaid carers.
Carewatch can also provide more personal care and support to people of all ages who require it. A helping hand with the daily demands of personal routine may be all it takes to greatly improve the quality of life for some people; we can undertake continence care and assistance with using the toilet, washing, dressing, bathing and getting up and going to bed at times that each person prefers, where possible.
There are times when the care and support needed becomes more challenging and complex; we are able to work in partnership with specialist nurses, support workers, or other healthcare professionals.

* Meal Preparation can be either domestic or personal dependent on level of disability. The position of the council, as supported by COSLA, is that meal preparation is only considered to be a personal task where the client requires the combination of meal preparation and assistance with feeding. Otherwise it is considered to be a domestic task.
